Description
A late 19th century gold enamel and diamond hinged bangle. The blue, white and red enamel scrolling acanthus leaf frieze with rose-cut diamond collet highlights, to the plain half-bangle and raised sides. Inner diameter 6.1cms. Weight 49.2gms.
Condition
Overall condition fair. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. Enamel loss and restoration throughout the blue sections. Few possible replacement diamonds, some wear to some mounts. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. Width 2cms.
