A late Victorian 9ct gold diamond and sapphire hinged bangle. The marquise-shape panel, with alternating circular-shape sapphire and diamond point line inset, to the rope-twist two-row back. Inner diameter 5.5cms. Weight 8.9gms.

Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. Several chips and weak points to the bangle. Some located areas have broken and split. Obvious scratch marks to front panel. Green staining present. Diamond fairly well matched. Diamonds fairly bright. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. Sapphires medium blue and are fairly well matched, well saturated, with x clarity and typical inclusions.
