An embroidered ivory satin coverlet, Chinese for the European market, circa 1900, worked in ivory and pastel silks with a large central heron, grasses, blossom and other small birds, deep knotted fringe borders, approx 185cm, square; together with a framed Japanese silk embroidery of a pot of blooms, 66 by 53cm (2)

Cover – generally fresh, good appearance, the odd scattered small watermark. 3x2cm repair below central crane. The cover looks faded overall. Fringes generally good, lining is good. Framed panel – colours are good, black satin ground with slight rubbing generally.
