Description
Laos, 1st millennium BCE. This is a large, intact example of a stone tool from Laos. Celts, also known as adzes or axes, were used as chopping or digging tools from prehistoric times until the early 20th century. The fine carving of this one suggests that it is a late example. Size: 8" x 1-3/4" x 1-3/4".
