Pre-Columbian, Central Peru, ca. 1400 CE. One of the most delightful vessels we have handled from this region! Pottery stirrup vessel in the form of a toothy fish. Painted in white, orange and brown with clealry delineated teeth, eyes in relief and flaring spout so beer could be poured in and poured out, easily! Size: 9" W x 8" H.
