Description
CROCE BENEDETTO: (1866-1952) Italian Philosopher & Historian. A.L.S., B. Croce, one page, 8vo, n.p. (Rome), 20th November 1922, to Arturo Colasanti, on the printed stationery of the Senato Del Regno, in Italian. Croce asks his correspondent to send a letter to the widow of Bernabei as he does not know her address, further remarking 'Sorry for the trouble and send me a visiting card as a sign you received this letter'. With blank integral leaf. Annotated in bold blue crayon in an unidentified hand at the head of the page. Together with a second A.L.S., B. Croce, on one side of a postcard bearing the printed address of La Critica to the verso, n.p. (Naples), 23rd December 1922, also to Arturo Colasanti, in Italian. Croce thanks his correspondent for some booklets and sends his best wishes for the New Year. Hand addressed by Croce to the verso and with two blue and red crayon annotations in an unidentified hand.
