J.H. Dallmeyer Modified Aluminum Petzval Lens, 1.B., c. 1890
No. 51803. Rare modified aluminum portrait lens, focal length approx. 16 cm, height approx. 12,5 cm, front lens Ø 50 mm. Iris diaphragm, rack-and-pinion focusing (working), complete with lens connecting ring. An interesting feature is the rotating rear lens mount with four grooves, through which the spherical aberration can be influenced and a "soft focus" effect achieved.

Nr. 51803. Seltenes modifiziertes Aluminium-Portraitobjektiv. Brennweite: ca. 16 cm. Höhe: ca. 12,5 cm. Frontlinse: Ø ca. 50 mm. Irisblende, Triebverstellung funktioniert. Komplett mit Objektivring. Interessant ist, daß das hintere Linsenglied mit Kerbungen I bis IIII drehbar ist, wodurch die sphärische Aberation zunimmt und ein "Soft Focus"-Effekt entsteht. Reizvoll bei Portraitaufnahmen.
