Description
Ancient Persia, Iran or Turkey, ca. 7th to 9th century CE. Gorgeous pair of glass pitchers. Largest is purple glass with bulbous base, thin neck, flared spout, loop handle and applied disc ornamentation. This accompanied by another similar style in light green glass. Size: largest measures 3-1/2"H.
Provenance: Ex-private S. K. Heninger collection, NC, acquired 1970’s.
