Pre-Columbian, southern Mexico, Vera Cruz, ca 400 to 600 CE. Attractive pottery figure of a warrior. He stands with arms akimbo, small applied nipples placed wide apart, loin cloth covers his important areas, helmet with strap protects his head. Nicely decorated with liberal amounts of black bitumen. Size: 7"H (17,8cm).
