Description
Pre-Columbian, northern Chile, Cabuza, ca. 500 to 1000 CE. A very rare and little known culture that existed about the same time as the Huari and Tihuanaco cultures. Unusual pottery kero with distinct cone shaped base decorated in red, black and tan with abstract designs. Size: 6-1/4"H (15,9cm).
Provenance: Ex-private Pavao collection, PA, acquired before 1980.
