An interesting collection of textiles from various Pre-Columbian cultures. A most interesting and informative assemblage of 28 textile fragments from multiple Pre-Columbian cultures, all neatly housed within a collection book, each with the name of the culture which include: 1. Nazca depicting a quadruped; 2. Nazca textile collar; 3. Paracas textile birds; 4. Tiahuanaco Culture (CARA) depicting the head of an animal; 5. Tiahuanaco Culture (LOROS) with geometric designs in dark colors; 6. Nazca (ATIGRADO) featuring yellow rings within a red-orange ground; 7. Nazca (HOURBRES) featuring geometric decorations in deep earth tones; 8. Nazca with geometric devices; 9. Tiahuanaco Huari (ESCALONADO) tightly woven panel with geometric decoration; 10. Nazca (ATIGRADO) with yellow rings within a green ground; 11. Tiahuanaco with dark and light brown; 12. Nazca (ATIGRADO) featuring yellow rings within a red-orange ground; 13. Tiahuanaco with two-headed serpent; 14. Nazca (ATIGRADO) with small orange rings within a green ground; 15. Inca of finely woven rows of orange and red lines against a black field; 16. Nazca of yellow & green alternating squares with red separation; 17. Inca, strip with geometric decoration; 18. Tiahuanaco with 'eye' design; 19. Nazca with dark rings against a red field; 20. Nazca with 2 llamas in green fiber on natural base; 21. Nazca (BOLSA KOGUERA) of a bag with red geometric on natural base; 22. Nazca (FAJA) with geometric decoration; 23. Nazca, narrow stripe with stylized quadruped in various earth tones; 24. Nazca (ATIGRADO) featuring orange rings within a red ground; 25. Tiahuanaco (LOROS) with geometric decoration in dark colors; 26. Tiahuanaco with geometric decoration in dark and light brown; 27. Tiahuanaco (VIRRCHA) with boxes containing four birds each; 28. Nazca with geometric decoration containing a pair of facing 'astronauts' in red and black against natural base. Book itself measures 8 1/2 in x 6 in and is quite unique!
