An early 20th century 15ct gold amethyst and split pearl pendant. Of openwork design, the oval-shape amethyst, within a foliate split pearl surround. May be worn as a brooch. Length 3.2cms. Weight 5.3gms.

Overall condition good. Surface scratches and minor discolouration in keeping with general wear and age. Amethyst medium dark purple, well saturated, with fair clarity and typical inclusions. Amethyst in good condition with some minor abrasions. Split-pearls are not matched. Split-pearls white and silvery-grey in colour, with fair to muted lustre.
