An Edwardian 15ct gold amethyst and split pearl star brooch. The graduated split pearl star, with central circular-shape amethyst and similarly-set amethyst ray spacers. Diameter 3.3cms. Weight 5.2gms.

Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.

Some small dents to the knife-edge arms of the amethyst rays.

Split pearls fairly well matched with slight discolouration and uneven surface.

Amethyst are a well matched deep medium purple hue, well saturated, with good clarity and typical inclusions.

Stones in good condition with minor abrasions.

Hook to reverse for use as pendant, no surmount.

Stamped 15ct.
