Antique & Modern Jewellery

Our June Antique & Modern Jewellery Auction kick-starts a summer of sumptuous jewels here at Fellows. Gracing our front cover is lot 451, a stunning peridot and diamond pendant. This scrolling Victorian pendant contains approximately 10 carats of old-cut and pear-shape diamonds, but the eyes are instantly drawn to the vivid and rich colour of the central peridot. This beautiful piece has a guide price of £7,000-9,000. Another gorgeous gem can be found in lot 215, a Sri Lankan sapphire and diamond cluster ring. Sri Lankan sapphires are renowned for their unrivalled intensity of colour, and this 4.15 carat example is no different. The sapphire has no evidence of heat treatment and is offered at £7,000-9,000. Our back cover displays a bold and beautiful heart-shape diamond ring. Lot 184 weighs 5.02 carats, and has a certifi cate stating that it is G colour and SI2 clarity. An exceptional item, this ring has an estimate of £25,000-35,000. Antique jewellery enthusiasts can also rejoice! Plate one shows truly special antique pieces. From lot 5, an intriguing and mysterious ?Lover?s eye? ring offered at £600-800, to lot 15 an unusual ?Medusa? cameo ring estimated at £280-380, to lot 41 a late medieval amatory ring, circa 1400 to 1500, with a guide price of £1,500-£2,500. As usual, our selection of designer jewellery is strong, and displayed on plates 5 and 6 with sought-after pieces to include a Cartier LOVE ring, Louis Vuitton charm bracelet and a Cartier Juste en Clou bangle and many more. Just in time for the Games, we are also offering a cased set of Olympic wreath brooches, lot 218 by Greek jeweller Vassilios with an estimate of £500-700. Our June Antique & Modern Jewellery Auction hosts gorgeous gemstones, antiques of interest and stylish designer pieces.
