Description
France, ca. 1874 to 1885 CE. This iron, brass and wood bayonet is a French model M1874 Gras Rifle Bayonet produced at St. Etienne Arsenal in St. Etienne, France. The last of the French sword-type bayonets, it was made to fit the French Model 1874 Gras Infantry Rifle and was used by the French Foreign Legion. Size: 20"L with scabbard.
