Engineering tool in the style of TOS featured in the fan favorite Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episode "Trials & Tribble-ations". A crewman can be seen scanning a section of the corridor while Dr. Bashir and Miles O' Brien chat aboard the original Enterprise. Made from resin and fiberglass, this item features three protruding scanner heads on the top, with a functioning screen, one button and three switches. Depressing the red button on the face of the device activates a sequencing of LED lights underneath the screen. This item measures 16" x 10" x 3" and remains in good, screen used condition. This piece features a fair amount of restoration done by a leading hollywood prop maker. Two of the top emitter pieces have been repaired and one has been duplicated and replaced, the original will be included with the lot.
