This is an original series Tricorder set used in the landmark episode "Trials & Tribble-ations", in the fifth season of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. This piece was created by the visual effect department, and was rigged to "explode" for the scene. This lot includes two versions, one is a "new" version, with no distressing, the second features wear in the form of white power residue with slight burn marks. Both pieces are made from two sections of vacu-formed plastic and feature silver metallic detailing, and a strap of faux black leather. These items remain in good condition.
