An enlarged weapons pod miniature model featured in the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episode "Way of the Warrior". This enlarged exterior model section was used for close up shots of the extending weapons pod for the episode. The tall pylon is part of the inner circle ring of the space station, where the pod was designed to be extended and rotated with motion control visual effects equipment on set. This rare model piece gives a up-close look at how model miniatures were used to create the special effects seen on screen. This item measures 39" x 27" and comes in it's own production made crate. Item remains in excellent condition and will require special shipping due to it's size.
