Description

AN IMPORTANT 18th/19th Century Large Qing Dynasty Carved Chinese White Jade
Formed in shape of an urn, tapered globular body raised on flared foot, wide neck with domed lids. The body decorated with intricately detail carving of enormous imperial five-claw dragon fiercely fly amidst scrolling flames and clouds, surrounded by "early treasure instrument" including, censer, endless knot, cranes, flying wheel, and radiant sun. Two floral motifs ears emerged from the neck.
The carving is smooth, with Grayish-celadon iridescent, sporadic golden-reddish russet 'skin' of natural fissures, and moist milky appearance.

Dimension: 10" H x 5-1/8" W
