GEORGI DIMITROV
(1882 - 1949) Bulgarian communist politician, the first communist leader of Bulgaria, from 1946 to 1949. Dimitrov led the Third Comintern under Stalin from 1934 to 1943, and was also tried for complicity in the burning of the Reichstag. Rare typed D.S., 1p. oblong 8vo., [n.p.], Sep. 28, 1945 and marked "Top Secret". As leader of a world communist organization, Dimitrov asks that Russian authorities allow thirteen individuals to leave Russia without scrutiny for being potentially involved in espionage. Trimmed at bottom, file holes, else very good.
