a broadside, dedicated to Samuel Whitbread, depicting Napoleon in a pulpit, promising a constitution and to abolish the slave trade, both to appeal to the French and appease foreign opinion, but the organ pipes are cannons and the congregation bandsmen and soldiers, original hand-coloured etching, the plate 275 x 285mm., the sheet 475 x 295mm., [BM Satires 12546], 1815; Helba Flag; The Phenix of Elba resuscitated by Treason, the first a satire on Napoleon's Elba flag of 3 bees, replaced with the letters 'B' for Bonaparte, Burdett, who opposed a resumption of war on the grounds that Napoleon was the French nation's choice of ruler, and Baring, the second as a general attack on the state of Europe after the collapse of the Congress of Vienna, and lack of unity against the resurgent Napoleon at Brussels in early April , the first an original hand coloured etching, 260 x 215mm., the latter an original hand-coloured aquatint, 250 x 350mm., this with some creasing and a loss to upper right margin, [BM Satires 12536 and 12537, respectively], Hannah Humphrey and W.N.
