Condition:

The vase is in good condition with slight signs of age and use. Minimal gold wear, a short glaze crack on one handle, which was presumably caused by the mounting and minimal loss of material ibidem are visible. The height measures 33 cm.



Powder Blue

The ‘Powder Blue’ glaze was especially popular during the Kangxi period. The cobalt blue was applied, according to literary sources, on the surface of the unfired porcelain body, which created a finely mottled or soufflé blue base during the firing process. The blue glaze was often complemented by motifs in gold.
