Maurice Picaud (Pico) gilt plaster relief plaque depicting an Art Deco style dancer, circa 1929. Smaller version of the dance motif created by the artist for the Folies-Bergeres in Paris. Framed in original oak frame. Condition: a few very small areas of gilding loss with plaster showing through, some signs of age to gilded finish, normal wear to frame, see images. Plaque itself measures 19.75" tall x 19" wide. Frame is mounted with plaque at the front, and measures 24.75" tall x 24.5" wide. Weight: approx. 15 lbs.
