A group of accessories and implements, Chinese, late 19th and early 20th century, (late Qing), comprising: a tortoiseshell scabbard containing knife, chop-sticks and tooth picks; a sharkskin scabbard containing chop-sticks and dagger; a cloisonne opium pipe, cheroot holder and buckle; a carved hardstone chop-stick rest and cheroot holder (7) Provenance: see lot 251
Condition
• Cloisonne pipe – enamel is good, slight rubbing to plated finish, apertures for 2 tools which are missing
• Tortoiseshell scabbard with bone chop sticks – good condition
• Knife with rosewood grip – blade has been repeatedly sharpened and is worn
• Sharkskin scabbard – good condition, one of the chopsticks is broken
• Dagger with bone handle is corroded and has been repeatedly sharpened
• Cloisonné cheroot holder and buckle – good condition
• Hardstone chopstick rest and cheroot holder – good condition
