Description
Chinese late 19th c. blue and white porcelain snuff bottle with iron red and yellow highlights. Depicting a group of figures with a horse in a landscape.
Provenance: Private Minneapolis Collection - collected in China prior to 1985.
Height: 3 1/2 in x diameter: 1 1/4 in.

Condition
No visible cracks, chips, or losses. No visible signs of restoration under UV light. There are signs of light wear throughout. There are minute scratches primarily along the top half of the bottle. There are accretions along the metal rim of the lid and along the body near the image of the horse. There is a small sticker along the body and the underside. The footrim has wear, consistent with age and use.
