China, Neolithic Period, Ca. 3rd - 2nd Millennium BCE. A fine and large Neolithic pot with twin handles on either side. Flat bottom tapers out to a bulbous body, and inwards to a narrow flared rim. Decorated with linear and geometric designs in brown/black paint. 13"H.
