Description
Cyprus, Late Bronze Age, Ca. 1200 BCE. Slipped in a brownish-white paint, with red pigment added in the interior and bottom of cup. Handle is in a near triangular ovoid shape. This vessel would have been used to "scoop" wine or liquid out of a larger vessel, like a proto-Kyathos. 6-1/2"L x 2-3/4"H.
