Various Photographers, c.1865-1875 INDIA, c.1865-75. A collection of disbound album pages containing 65 albumen prints and 1 cyanotype, all taken in India, mostly large format and with works by Samuel Bourne (1834-1912), and John Edward Saché (1824-1882) and one print by C.& G. Zangaki (1845 - 1890), largest 295mm x 230mm, smallest 165mm x 110mm. Subjects include views in Simla, Calcutta, The Barracks at Port Blair, Bengal, Nynee Tal Lake, Agra Fort with the Taj Mahal in the distance, The Red Fort & Cashmere Gate Delhi, The Adaman Islands, portrait studies including a group of British Imperial Forestry Service Officers with Sir Dietrich Brandis, a British Military family and their wedding, tennis, some examples signed or numbered in the negative.
