A late 19th century gold vari-cut diamond and enamel brooch, in the manner of Falize. Principal diamond estimated weight 0.45ct, G-H colour, P1 clarity. Diameter 3.1cms. 9.1gms.
Condition
Surface scratches and minor marks.Replacement brooch fittings. Soft solder and discolouration visible. Pin is loose, may benefit from attention. Traces of slight textured finish visible to the surround.Diamonds appear bright and well matched.Individual size and setting of rose-cut diamonds prevents accurate weight, colour and clarity assessment. Enamel with few small cracks around edge of diamond cluster. Minor gas bubble toward edge.Free virtual viewings are available by appointment.
