Pre-Columbian, South Coast of Peru, Nazca culture, ca. 200 to 500 CE. An interesting pottery jar of round-bottomed form bearing 2 registers of left-facing birds in flight, each with a dark gray body, yellow and red feathers, and spindly feet. Size: 4.3" Diameter x 5.9" H (10.9 cm x 15 cm)

Abrasions and fading to pigment, otherwise intact and very good. Nice avian motif, and great preservation to pigment in most areas.
