Description: Scarce maki-e fountain pen created by Kyusai Yoshida for the Pilot corporation in 1989, to commemorate the relocation of the company's headquarters. No limitation number is marked, but it's said that only 200 examples were made for in-house distribution only. Converter-filler. Medium 14K gold nib, engraved "H1.10.1" on the base. Outer box, wood display box, leaflet, tag. Excellent condition, not inked.

"H1.10.1 was stamped on the nib of this 'HouSouGe' pen. Here, 'H1' shows the year of Heisei 1st (1989 year) which is the year of company name change and the relocation of Pilot headquarters. Then, '10.1' shows 1st, October which is Pilot anniversary of the founding. There is no stamp of this kind for other Pilot fountain pens as far as I know." – From eBay listing.***********************
