Description: Ogival-form fountain pen decorated with gold, red and other pigments with a bird perched on a cherry blossom bough, with numerous cherry blossoms rendered in raden (inset mother-of-pearl). The urushi (lacquer) surface is textured in the kanshitsu ("volcano surface") technique. Gold-plated faceted Platinum clip and thin cap band. Signed (kanji unknown). Lever-filler. 140mm. 14K gold heart-vent Platinum nib, very slight flex. Excellent condition.***********************
