1904–08 Studium an der Kunstgewerbeschule Dresden. 1908–13 Studium an der Kunstakademie Dresden, u.a. bei O. Zwintscher, G. Kuehl, R. Mueller u. O. Schindler. Ab 1913 freischaffend in Dresden taetig. Bis 1933 u. nach 1945 auf zahlreichen Grafikausstellungen vertreten.
