Pre-Columbian, West Mexico, Colima, ca. 300 BCE to 300 CE. A hand-built redware pottery jar of nice size bearing deep grooves and vertical ribs that resemble a squash. Size: 8.8" Diameter x 6.4" H (22.4 cm x 16.3 cm)

Condition
Professional restoration to rim and areas of upper neck. Stabilization to some fissures along one side with new material, with other parts of the fissure lines still visible. Abrasions and light earthen deposits. Nice size and form.
