A LARGE BURMESE LACQUER BETEL BOX, KUN-IT, LATE 19TH CENTURY. In five sections to include two trays. Well decorated with incised scenes of figures and scrolling foliage to the base, mid section and cover. Burma, Shan States. 24cm tall x 30.8cm diam. at the base. Condition
Some surface cracks to lacquer with minor lacquer losses in places to edges.
