Japanese. 1950s. Metal. The Scott-Atwater company produced regular-sized outboard motors that were famous for the "Bail-a-Matic" (as noted on this model) which meant there was a hose that came out of the motor and went to the bilge of the boat to bail out water. The problem was that the hose was close to the motor and would burn when there was no water in the boat. The toy versions of the motor were originally inexpensive but are now highly collectible and expensive... if you can find one. Marked, "Japan", below and to the right of the "33 rpm" decal on motor. 5.5" x 1.5" x 3.5".

Excellent and complete condition. Shows minor oxidation. Tested and working.
