Item Details
Description
**Originally Listed At $250**

United States, ca. late 19th to early 20th century CE. A wood and iron tool used as a seed or corn planter, a handy contraption for farmers to precisely place seeds without bending over. Below the wood handle is an iron lever connected to a wire rod and spring that opens and closes the iron dispense mouth that controls the seed flow. An iron panel on the front forms the hopper - the funnel top that tapers downward. This may have been handmade, but farmers could also buy similar models in catalogs. This is perfect for use as rustic farmhouse decor! Size: 33" L x 7.5" W (83.8 cm x 19 cm)
