American. C. 1949. A rare George Herman "Babe" Ruth wristwatch with the original plastic baseball-shaped case. The Bambino is still considered one of the most recognizable baseball players of all time, making his memorabilia very collectible. This novelty watch shows Ruth in his New York Yankees uniform framed in a baseball diamond. These watches were Swiss-made by Exacta Time Corporation for the Babe Ruth Watch Co. Inc. and were sold in jewellery and department stores across the U.S. Marked, "Exacta Time Corporation", on back of metal case.

Watch has been tested and is in working condition. Overall very good condition. Original metal expansion band. The case insert has been replaced. Watch bezel and back show faint oxidation and usewear. Light soil to the case.
