Compiled sketchbook 'Hans Liska', artwork by Hans Liska (1907-1983), a front line war reporter during WWII, published by Verlag Dr. Buhrbanck & Co., Berlin, offset printing by Carl Werner Reichenbach, 1944, 68 pages, hardcover, string at right edge to tie closed, 12 x 8.25 inches. The sketchbook features reproductions of sketches made by Liska with illustrations of the aftermath of the British raid on Dieppe, battle scenes from Sevastopol, engineers advancing, flamethrowers, German weaponry, ruined French towns, French refugees, and more. Very good.
