Description
For your consideration is this large, stunning Northwest Africa (NWA) meteorite weighing in at 574.5 grams. NWA meteorites are a group of meteorites that were discovered in the Northwest Africa (NWA) region of the Sahara Desert. These are a vast category of meteorites that originate from asteroids, the Moon, Mars and other celestial entities. NWA meteorites are prized by researchers and collectors because they offer a special chance to understand the makeup and development of the Solar System. They are believed to be some of the earliest and most fundamental objects in our Solar System and can provide valuable insight into the formation and evolution of planets, asteroids, and other celestial bodies. The meteorite is not made of metal, so it is a Chondrite or stone meteorite. It is clear that the Chondrite contains traces of iron, which gives it a red-brown color. This meteorite is also magnetic. The meteorite shows colors of red-brown, brown and beige. The meteorite measures4" L x 3 3/4" W x 2 3/16" H and weighs 574.5 grams.
