Pre-Columbian, West Mexico, Colima, ca. 300 BCE to 300 CE. A beautiful collection of 34 ancient Mesoamerican jade and greenstone beads, strung in a balanced arrangement on a modern cord as a wearable necklace. Size of strand: 21" L (53.3 cm); tubular bead: 0.8" L x 0.25" W (2 cm x 0.6 cm)
Provenance: private Reinsmoen collection, Clear Lake, Iowa, USA, acquired through descent from Robert Anderson, acquired prior to 2000

Condition
Beads are excellent with only minor nicks. Some light mineral deposits. Great coloration and strung on a modern cord as a wearable necklace with a lobster clasp.
