Chinese Ming Dynasty Blue and White Flowers Porcelain Jar. Potted into jar shape, having thick and tall, globular body, heavy on shoulder gently tapered on short neck, round mouth lip raised on ring foot base slight concave. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in clean white color which contrast against blue fine color, depicted of flowers bloom interspersed foliage, scrolling interlocking tendril and auspicious pattern. The clay is very fine, with a brilliant glaze finish that was applied by a meticulous, the shape is uniformly proportioned.The underside unglazed, revealed the pale-creme ground revealed and dark greyish brown spotted firing marks and edge-cut foot rim.
