THREE BLUE AND WHITE KRAAK WARES
Wanli
Comprising: a barbed rim 'river landscape' dish, the sides decorated with panels of birds and flowers; a dish with moulded bands of radiating lotus petals to the sides enclosing a panel with a frog amongst rockwork and lotus; and a barbed rim bowl decorated to the centre with a grasshopper amongst flowers and rockwork.
The largest 30.5cm (12in) diam. (3).

General old wear and firing imperfections.
The landscape dish with fritting to the well. Two rim hairlines, both extending to just above the foot, with some related retouching at the rim edge.
The frog dish - glaze chipping at the rim.
The bowl - firing crack running half way around the base.
