Gradassi (Jean).- Shakespeare (William) Les Chefs d'Oeuvre, First & Second series, together 12 vol., translated by François-Victor Hugo, one of 420 copies reserved for "Amis de Plaisir du Livre" with 2 original colour illustrations signed by the artist (in vol. 6 & 12) and a suite of full-page illustrations in green outline to the rear of each volume, from a total limitation of 3500 copies, plates and illustrations by Jean Gradassi in colours and gilt, tissue-guards, signed presentation inscription from the artist on vol. 1 half-title, vol. 6 & 12 with certificate of authenticity loosely inserted, the odd faint spot to fore-edge, original panelled russet morocco with intricate embossed design, gilt, t.e.g., spines uniformly lightly sunned, some very light rubbing to corners and raised bands to spines, housed in morocco-edged slipcases (lightly rubbed), 4to, Nice, a L'Enseigne du Chant des Sphères, 1969-74.
