Large Group of 107 Victorian Embellished Cotton 'Shirt Waist" Belts. This incredibly large group includes approx. 80 cotton belts with a round mother of pearl buckles in a variety of prints and embroidered styles such as stripes, floral machine embroidery, and more. They mostly measure 29'' long by 2'' wide, the buckle is 1.5'' by 1.5''. 6 embroidered cotton canvas belts with rounded rectangular buckles measuring 33'' long by 2'' wide, buckle measures 1.5'' high by 2'' wide. 8 possibly upcycled white cotton collar belts with a variety of matching embroidery accents measuring 28.5'' long by 2.5'' wide. 9 embroidered cotton canvas belts with large square concave buckles, they measure 30.5'' long by 2'' wide, and a 2'' by 2'' buckle. 4 embroidered linen belts measuring 3239'' long by 2'' wide. The linen belts do not currently have buckles, but do give metal hooked ends. We are unsure of the maker or the exact time period. Some may be original Victorian and some may be old deadstock that have been upcycled. Most of the belts are in good condition with general yellowing. Some have spots, fading, staining, and rust marks. The count of the belts is approximate. Please see the photos. If you have any doubt, please ask questions!
