This classic 19th century mens bowler/derby black fur felt hat by John David New York features a tapered upturned 2'' wide brim, a 22.5'' circumference, a 5'' tall crown, and a 1 1/4'' wide black grosgrain ribbon band with raw ends. As well as a beautifully finished inner ivory silk lining. John David Hats can be found in the Metropolitan Museum of Art Collection. The hat is in good condition with the brim ribbon having several splits and the inner leather band being almost completely detached from the hat. If you have any doubt, please ask questions!
