Description

Offered here for your consideration is a PUBLISHED Mexican silver bridle from circa the 1800s. With so much history and great details, it is clear why this bridle is featured in "Bridles of the Americas" on pg. 52. To start off it is splendidly embellished with large silver conchos. Then, it features a ring bit that is attached to the leather braided reins by a chain. A five chain chin piece finishes off this piece wonderfully. Don't miss out on this great example of skill and ingenuity from the 1800s and bid now!
PROVENANCE: Ned and Jody Martin collection.
MAKER: Unknown.
APPROX AGE: Circa 1800s
SIZE: The mouth piece measures 4 1/2 inches and 3 1/2 inches in length overall. The bridle fits a standard horse.
CONDITION: Average to good for its age, normal wear and minor imperfections expected. Please look closely at the pictures as they are an important part of our description and are hereby incorporated into the description, specifically with regards to condition.
