JOHN GEE (BRITISH, 1779-1824) REGENCY KLISMOS SIDE CHAIR, classical-revival form with brass ball finials and brass mounting to the back slat, the sides with matching brass mounting, the whole raised on well-drawn sabre legs. Retains its likely original black-lacquered surface. Stamped with a stylized "JG" to underside of frame. English. First quarter 19th century. 33" HOA, 18 1/2" WOA, 21" DOA at base.
