Headrests with hand painted romantic scenes, split side rails separated by ebonized biscuits, lyre-form double splats, faux tiger maple painted, upholstered seats. 32 x 18 1/2 x 17 1/2 inches. Provenance: Gifted to consignor in the mid eighties directly from The Choate Estate in Massachusetts. Original owner stated that Israel Sack had inquired about purchasing.

Condition

Scattered paint & varnish loss, loss to (1) lyre, surface grime.
