Description
DURGIN AND WHITING STERLING SILVER SERVING UTENSILS AND SPOONS, LOT OF EIGHT, comprising a set of four "Orange Blossom" bouillon soup spoons by Durgin which was sold to Gorham Mfg. Co. of Providence, RI in 1905, and four serving utensils by Whiting Mfg. Co. consisting of an "Oval Twist" pie knife, and three "Berry" pieces featuring two small serving/tablespoons with engraved "A" initial to back and a server with a ridged blade. Each with "STERLING" and maker's marks. Total weight: 11.105 ozt. Late 19th/first half 20th century. 5 5/8" to 9 3/4" LOA.
Condition
Mostly in very good overall condition with some wear, surface scratches, and other imperfections including nicks, slight bending, one or a few dents, and/or worn spots to raised decoration.
